Martin Siml
Managing Director, Global Private Finance
Martin is a member of Barings’ Global Private Finance Group. Based in Frankfurt, he is responsible for originating, executing, and monitoring private finance investments in the European market with a focus on Germany. Martin has worked in the industry since 2005, most recently for ODDO BHF Asset Management GmbH, where he focused on origination, execution, and fundraising, and worked to expand the platform’s network of sponsors and advisors to ensure high-quality deal flow. Prior to that, he held senior roles in leveraged finance and structured finance at ODDO BHF Aktiengesellschaft and WestLB AG. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Rostock and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Technical University of Berlin.
