Senior Director, Securitized Trading
Alan Alegado is a member of Barings’ Investment Grade Fixed Income Group. Alan is a trader for Global Public Securitized Products and is responsible for trading and developing portfolio strategy for the MBS sector. Alan has worked in the industry since 2011. Prior to joining Barings in 2017, Alan was a Portfolio Manager at E*TRADE Financial Corporation where he focused on Agency MBS and traded Specified Pools/CMOs for the bank securities portfolio. Alan holds a B.S. in business administration from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Alan is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
