Andrew Tourigny

Andrew Tourigny is Head of Barings’ Insurance Portfolio Management team, responsible for Barings’ 3rd party multi-sector insurance mandates. Working in the industry since 2010, Andrew has broad experience across insurance investment platforms that has encompassed asset allocation, portfolio management, security underwriting, and risk management. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, he served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Head of Agency MBS at Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO). Previously, he served as a member of HIMCO’s Insurance Portfolio Management team. Andrew holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Connecticut.
