Chun Song

Chun Song is the Lead Investment Manager in Barings’ Seoul-based Equity Investment Team for the Barings Korea Select Fund and the Barings Beautiful Million Dollars Fund. He is also responsible for managing a number of other equity portfolios where he mainly constructs portfolios with high conviction to achieve high excess returns from a long-term perspective. Chun has worked in the industry since June 2003. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, he worked for Hanwha Asset Management (formerly known as Hyundai Investment & Trust Company / Prudential Asset Management), as a Research Analyst that managed several domestic equity funds. Chun holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University.
