Gareth Hall

Gareth Hall is a member of Barings’ European High Yield Investment Group and is responsible for the portfolio management of various European, global, and ESG-focused strategies. Additionally, Gareth has an active role leading the development of ESG investment capabilities for the global high yield team and is a voting member of the European High Yield Investment Committee. Previously, Gareth was a senior investment analyst in the European High Yield Investments Group covering high yield bonds and leveraged loans across multiple sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Gareth worked for Ernst & Young on the transaction advisory services team, primarily focused on financial and commercial due diligence for private equity clients. Gareth is a chartered accountant and holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in mathematics, operational research, statistics and economics (MORSE) from the University of Warwick.
