Patrick Manseau, CFA

Patrick Manseau is a member of Barings’ Private Placements and Asset Based Finance Group and Head of Commercial Asset Finance, where he also serves on the Investment Committee. He has experience in origination, structuring and underwriting private corporate, structured and infrastructure debt issuances, and portfolio management of those assets. In 2021, he helped establish the structured debt vertical within the Private Placements group at Barings. Patrick also helped establish Barings Infrastructure Debt group in 2013 where he led the Americas team from 2016 to 2020. Prior to joining Barings in 2006 to focus on corporate private placements, he supported the private placement and mezzanine and private equity groups at Barings as in-house corporate counsel with MassMutual Life Insurance Company. Before joining MassMutual in 2004, Patrick was an attorney in the corporate group at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, MA. Patrick holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and is a member of the CFA Institute.
