Marco Corti

Marco Corti is a member of Barings Alternative Investments, a global real estate, private equity and real assets platform. Marco is a Managing Director, Real Estate Country Head for Italy, based in Milan. He is responsible for sourcing and executing deals as well as overseeing all asset management activities in the country. Marco has worked in the industry since 2002. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Marco was at Invesco Real Estate since 2014, where he was Head of Asset Management Italy and also contributed to the successful start-up of the Italian real estate office. Prior to joining Invesco, he spent almost eight years at the private equity company Doughty Hanson & Co Real Estate, where he was a Senior Associate working on new deals as well as management of acquired properties. Before that, he was an Asset Manager at CBREGI. Marco holds a degree in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano University.
